Its been a while since I have last posted. Many changes going on in my life lately. For the past 6 years I have had a daily routine, wake up, get out of bed, get ready for the day, stop at the coffee shop before heading to my shop.
Recently my husband and I decided it was time to move on, to spread our wings I guess. Ive had 2 business partners for the past 6 years, a husband and wife team. One being an amazing business woman who has had her own business aside from this one for the past 10+ years. We had a local bead shop where Robert and I both taught classes in jewelry and blacksmithing. I recently sold my portion of the business in pursuit of creating full time.
We are currently in the process of moving into a 2500 sq ft warehouse space where we will have our studios and also be able to teach full time. My heart is in creating, working with my hands, and sharing my knowledge of concept and design with others.
King Street Studios is the name of our space. Inside of our space, myself, Gypsy Peacock Jewelry, my husband Robert Noelke of The Itty Bitty Smithy as well as my soul sister Christina Lemarr of Speckled Feather Boutique and Moon Gypsy Designs will share a space. We will teach blacksmithing, metaljewelry arts, bead looming as well as alternative photo processing. We will also bring in other creatives to teach different workshops. King Street Studios will have monthly art shows as well as other creative events.

The Ojibwa believe that a dreamcatcher changes a person's dreams. "Only good dreams would be allowed to filter through… Bad dreams would stay in the net, disappearing with the light of day." Good dreams would pass through and slide down the feathers to the sleeper. Here are a few dreamcatchers I have recently been working on.
